Placements24 is seeking a Senior Project Manager to optimize our client's distribution networks from East London, Eastern Cape. The role supports a hybrid work model with site visits and remote collaboration to drive efficiency and cost savings across logistics operations.

You will lead cross-functional teams, manage budgets, and implement TMS/WMS solutions while tracking KPIs and delivering strategic improvements for global logistics networks.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in project management with logistics/supply chain focus
• Proven track record delivering efficiency and cost reductions in logistics
• Deep knowledge of logistics principles and distribution network strategies
• Experience with TMS and WMS systems; data-driven decision making
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Proficiency with project management software and tools

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, and delivery of complex logistics projects
• Develop detailed project plans with scope, objectives, timelines and resources
• Manage cross-functional project teams including operations, IT and external partners
• Analyze logistics processes to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities
• Implement new technologies and methodologies to enhance network performance
• Monitor budgets, risks and KPIs; report to senior management
• Facilitate clear communication across stakeholders in hybrid work settings
