Placements24 is seeking a highly experienced Senior Logistics Manager to lead our remote-first supply chain initiatives. You will oversee logistics, warehousing, and transportation, while negotiating with 3PLs and carriers to optimize costs and service levels.

The role requires strategic thinking, strong communication, and the ability to drive data-driven improvements in a fully remote environment. South Africa-based candidates are preferred for regulatory alignment and local market knowledge.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
• 7+ years of progressive logistics/supply chain experience.
• Experience leading remote or distributed teams.
• Experience with international logistics and compliance.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee and manage all aspects of logistics and supply chain operations from a remote setting.
• Develop and implement strategic plans for inventory management, warehousing, transportation, and distribution.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in logistics and supply chain management, with a proven track record of success.
• Demonstrated experience in managing complex, large-scale logistics operations, preferably in a remote or distributed team setting.
• Strong understanding of supply chain principles, transportation modes, warehousing, and international logistics.
• Proficiency in logistics management software (e.g., WMS, TMS) and ERP systems.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage remote teams effectively.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, fully remote environment.
• Must be based in **South Africa** and possess a reliable internet connection and suitable home office setup.
