Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior Logistics Manager to lead and optimize our supply chain from the Sandton, Gauteng hub. The role requires a visionary leader with experience in inbound/outbound logistics, inventory control, and transportation across multiple business units.

You will develop strategies, manage 3PL relationships, guide a team, and implement advanced logistics technologies while controlling the budget.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• 7–10 years of progressive logistics and supply chain management experience.
• Proven track record in large-scale logistics operations and cost optimization.
• Strong knowledge of global supply chain principles and trends.
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and strategic planning capabilities.
• Proficient in logistics software, ERP systems, and data analytics tools.
• Hybrid work capability balancing office and remote responsibilities.
• Strong budget management and financial acumen.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement logistics strategies aligned with objectives.
• Oversee warehousing, inventory control, and transportation operations.
• Manage relationships with 3PLs and carriers.
