You will collaborate closely with environment artists, level designers, and art directors to establish and implement compelling lighting solutions that enhance gameplay and storytelling. Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement high-quality lighting for game environments using industry-standard game engines (e.g., Unreal Engine, Unity).

• Optimize lighting solutions for performance across multiple platforms without compromising visual quality.
• Create and manage light probes, reflection captures, and other lighting-related assets.
• Troubleshoot and resolve lighting-related technical issues and bugs.
• Stay informed about the latest advancements in real-time lighting techniques and technologies.
• Mentor junior lighting artists and provide constructive feedback.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Lighting Artist in the video game industry, with a strong portfolio showcasing exceptional environment lighting work.
• Proficiency in game engines such as Unreal Engine or Unity, particularly their lighting systems.
• Strong understanding of lighting principles, color theory, and composition.
• Experience with creating and optimizing baked lighting and real-time lighting solutions.
• Familiarity with PBR (Physically Based Rendering) workflows.
• Knowledge of 3D modeling and texturing principles is a plus.

• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
