Placements24 in Port Elizabeth is seeking a Senior Lighting Artist to elevate visual storytelling for film, animation, and games. You will craft evocative lighting setups, guide mood, and collaborate with art directors and cinematographers to realize cinematic scenes.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in CG lighting, a strong portfolio, and proficiency with Maya, 3ds Max, Blender, and renderers such as Arnold, V-Ray, and RenderMan.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Lighting Artist in the CG industry (film, animation or games).
• Strong portfolio showcasing exceptional lighting and rendering skills across diverse projects.
• Proficiency with Maya, 3ds Max, Blender and rendering engines Arnold, V-Ray or RenderMan.
• Solid understanding of color theory, composition and cinematography principles.
• Experience with compositing software is a plus.
