Simeka Consultants and Actuaries, a Sanlam Corporate subsidiary, seeks a Senior Legal and Technical Specialist to provide high-level legal, regulatory and governance support for retirement funds and employee benefits. You will advise trustees, consultants and employers, translate legislation into practical client solutions, and draft opinions, fund rules and policies.

Qualifications
- Strong legal and regulatory interpretation for retirement funds and employee benefits.
- Draft, review and amend fund rules, policies and governance documents.
- Provide legal and technical opinions and guidance to consultants, boards and clients.
Responsabilités
- Provide specialist legal and technical advice to consultants, retirement funds, boards of trustees, principal officers and employer clients.
- Research, interpret and apply legislation, regulations and industry guidance and convert to practical recommendations.
- Prepare clear, well-reasoned opinions and support complex retirement benefits matters.
- Contribute to training, thought leadership and stakeholder communications.
