Placements24 is seeking an experienced Senior Legal Counsel to join our fully remote legal team. You will steer complex agreements, protect intellectual property, ensure privacy compliance, and guide multinational contracts as the business scales globally.

Ideal candidates have SA-qualified admission, 7+ years post-qualification experience in technology law, SaaS, and data privacy, with strong drafting and negotiation skills and the ability to operate autonomously in a remote setting.

Qualificações

• Admission to the South African legal practice with 7+ years post-qualification experience.
• Experience in technology law, IP, data privacy, and commercial contracts.
• Experience advising tech companies, startups or SaaS businesses is highly desirable.
• Strong drafting, negotiation and analytical skills; remote work capable.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and protect the company's intellectual property portfolio, including patents, trademarks, and copyrights.
• Ensure compliance with relevant international laws and regulations applicable to technology companies.
• Advise senior management on legal risks associated with product development, market expansion, and strategic initiatives.
• Oversee any litigation or regulatory investigations, coordinating with external counsel as needed.

Requirements
