Absa Bank Limited is seeking a senior Learning & Development leader to translate business priorities into future-focused L&D strategies, capability-building plans and governance practices that strengthen leadership and workforce readiness.

In this role you will partner with senior HR stakeholders to deliver aligned learning solutions, manage the L&D budget and drive ROI while leveraging internal resources and external partners to support business growth across Africa.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and delivering L&D strategies and capability-building plans.
• Ability to partner with senior leaders to align learning with business goals.
• Proven track record in governance, ROI evaluation and budgeting for L&D.

Responsibilities

• Partner with People Lead/Partner to scope L&D and talent management components.
• Lead diagnosis and delivery of bespoke learning interventions aligned to business goals.
• Manage L&D budget and maximise internal solutions while controlling external spend.
• Build relationships with clients and translate business strategy into learning plans.
• Provide offsite facilitation and engage SMEs to deliver learning programs.
