Job summary

On Line Personnel seeks an experienced Labour Lawyer to lead employment law matters in the logistics and supply chain sector. You will vet contracts, draft agreements, and act as a key risk mitigator ensuring statutory compliance in a high-pressure environment.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in SA Labour Law, with direct logistics exposure, and fluency in Afrikaans and English. Strong dispute resolution skills and practical commercial advice are essential.

Qualifications

Qualified in South African labour law with 5+ years post-qualification experience.
Experience in logistics or heavy industry is advantageous.
High attention to detail in contracts and vetting.
Deep knowledge of LRA, BCEA, EEA and dispute resolution.
Fluency in Afrikaans and English is essential.

Responsibilities

Contract vetting and drafting of employment contracts, independent contractor agreements, and SLAs.
Risk mitigation by identifying and closing compliance gaps in offers and documentation.
Standardize employment templates across positions to reflect updated labour legislation.
Represent the company in CCMA and Bargaining Council proceedings and manage disputes.
Provide policy reviews and pragmatic legal advisory to management.
