Cepheid, a Danaher Company, seeks a Senior Key Account Manager based in Gauteng to drive our molecular diagnostics portfolio across South Africa's healthcare ecosystem, engaging high-level clients and public health partners.

You will manage key accounts, support distributor activities, and lead strategy, tender, and pricing efforts while collaborating with marketing, care, service, and technical teams to ensure excellent service and sustained growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Medical Technology, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in diagnostics, medical device, or healthcare.
• Proven success in managing key accounts and long-term relationships.
• Strong financial and commercial acumen in B2B healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Achieve or exceed revenue targets by managing strategic accounts in Gauteng.
• Design account strategies to grow market share and partnerships.
• Lead tenders, contracts, and pricing strategies in market dynamics.
• Serve as primary contact for hospitals, labs, and distributor partners.
• Drive growth across private and public healthcare providers.
• Engage clinicians, lab directors, procurement, and policy makers.
• Collaborate with Marketing on demand generation campaigns and events.
• Support distributor partners with training and CPTK adherence.
• Maintain sales forecasting discipline using Salesforce.
• Coordinate with Customer Care, Service, and Technical teams for uptime.
• Champion DBS and funnel management for process excellence.
