Qualifications

• 5 to 10 years of software development experience.
• Strong hands on experience with Java, Spring Boot, Angular and API development.
• Experience with enterprise applications and integrated solutions.
• Strong understanding of microservices and modern software development practices.
• Experience contributing to solution design and technical architecture.
• Experience in cloud based environments and modern software engineering.
• Mentoring and knowledge sharing are advantageous; financial services exposure advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and maintain Java applications and services.
• Build scalable microservices and distributed systems using Java and Spring Boot.
• Develop and enhance Angular applications and user interfaces.
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs and web services.
• Work with existing enterprise applications and continually improve them.
• Contribute to solution design and technical architecture discussions.
• Apply OO design principles and development patterns.
• Develop secure, scalable and high performing solutions.
• Build integrations using REST, SOAP, messaging and APIs (XML/JSON).
• Work with JMS, IBM MQ, AWS SQS; support cloud native apps on AWS.
• Help improve performance, monitoring, stability and reliability.
• Write unit, integration and automated tests; participate in CI/CD with Git and Gradle.
