Job summary

NNW Tech Solutions in Johannesburg is seeking an experienced Java Engineer to contribute to robust Java applications across the full software development lifecycle. You will work across design and development to troubleshooting and release support.

You will work with Java, Spring, RESTful APIs, and cloud technologies, collaborating with cross-functional teams, participating in design reviews, and mentoring junior developers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 8+ years of commercial Java development experience.
• Proficiency in Java frameworks: Spring and Hibernate.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with Git, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent problem-solving and collaboration skills.
• Ability to mentor junior developers and contribute to best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable Java applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement new features and enhancements.
• Participate in design meetings, code reviews, and provide technical mentorship to team members.
