Job summary

Momentum Metropolitan is seeking an experienced Java/Spring developer to design and build microservice-based applications using AWS and Angular front-ends. You will contribute to secure, scalable solutions across our finance platforms.

The role requires a strong IT background, 10+ years in software development, and 2-4 years in financial services, with emphasis on integration and modern cloud-native practices.

Qualifications

• Relevant IT degree or diploma.
• 10+ years of software development experience.
• 2-4 years of software development in a financial services environment.
• Experience in integrating different applications and technologies will be an advantage.
• Knowledge of FICA Act and CDD-related systems will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Java and Spring-based systems and UI applications using Angular.
• Create microservice-based applications deployed on AWS with security best practices.
• Maintain and upgrade existing applications and contribute to architecture discussions.
• Collaborate with architects and BAs to translate business requirements into technical designs.
