Job summary

E-Merge is seeking a Java back-end software engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable back-end services. You will develop RESTful APIs and event-driven solutions, deploy cloud-native apps on AWS and Kubernetes, and contribute to microservices and domain-driven architectures.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 (National Senior Certificate / NCV)
• 6+ years of back-end software development experience
• Proven experience building and supporting production-grade systems
• Strong Java and Spring Boot expertise
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
• Cloud platform experience (AWS is a bonus)
• Experience with microservices and event-driven architectures
• Exposure to Docker, containers, and Kubernetes
