Qualifications

• 6+ years of proven back-end software development experience delivering production-grade systems at scale.
• Deep Java and Spring Boot expertise in event-driven or distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka, PostgreSQL and AWS.
• Knowledge of Terraform and DevOps practices.
• Experience with domain-driven and event-driven architectures.
• Strong knowledge of distributed systems, saga patterns, circuit breakers, bulkheads, and RESTful APIs.
• Knowledge of unit, integration and contract testing, SDLC, agile delivery and version control.
• Payments, fintech or financial services experience preferred.
• Ability to engage confidently with senior business stakeholders, work independently and take ownership.
