Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to lead strategic and operational technology initiatives in Johannesburg. You will drive governance, planning, and delivery across enterprise systems to enable digital transformation and improved customer experiences.

The role requires 10+ years of experience, PMP/PRINCE2/SAP Activate or equivalent certification, and strong vendor management in a large corporate setting. This is a full-time, on-site position in Johannesburg.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in IT/CS/IS/Engineering/Business or related field is required.
PM certification (PMP, PRINCE2, SAP Activate, Agile, Scrum Master) preferred.
10+ years of experience managing medium to large IT projects.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end delivery of strategic and operational IT projects.
Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, resources, risks and dependencies.
Ensure delivery on time, within budget and with defined quality standards.
Coordinate cross-functional teams and manage interdependencies across programs.
Oversee a programme portfolio aligned with business objectives.
Monitor progress and report risks, issues and outcomes to stakeholders.
