Job summary

Crawford International invites an experienced Information Technology Educator to lead the IT curriculum in the Senior and FET Phases. The role focuses on delivering IEB IT (JAVA) for Grades 10-12, planning engaging lessons, and assessing student progress within a future-focused learning environment.

The successful candidate will collaborate with staff, support school accreditation, and engage with students, parents and the broader Crawford community to promote high achievement and growth.

Qualifications

• Must hold a degree (NQF 7) with PGCE/B.Ed (FET) specialising in the subject to be taught.
• Experience teaching Information Technology in the FET Phase (Grades 10-12) is required.
• Experience as an IEB marker for Information Technology would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement and assess IT instruction for Senior and FET learners.
• Deliver lessons aligned to IEB IT curriculum (JAVA) for Grades 10-12.
• Assess and report student progress with data-driven insights.
• Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to school initiatives and events.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to students and parents as needed.
• Maintain a learning environment aligned with Crawford International standards.
