Qualifications

• Master's degree in Agronomy/Entomology/Plant Pathology or related agricultural science field.
• Minimum 6 years of professional experience in crop protection, IPM, or agricultural extension.
• Strong ability to identify and manage pests, diseases, and weeds in South African crops.
• Experience designing and conducting field trials and interpreting results.
• Deep knowledge of pesticide modes of action, application technology and safety.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement integrated IPM programs for multiple crops.
• Conduct field surveys and diagnose pest, disease and weed issues.
• Evaluate new crop protection products and technologies, including biocontrols.
• Provide expert technical advice and training to farmers, agronomists and sales teams.
