Job summary

Sourceworx Pty seeks a Swift developer responsible for developing and maintaining iOS applications. You will create and integrate apps with back-end services, collaborating with engineers across layers of the infrastructure to deliver high-quality products.

The role requires hands-on experience with Swift, RxSwift, Xcode, REST APIs, testing, and performance optimization, in an Agile environment. On-site in Sandton, SA, with opportunities for DevOps collaboration.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Swift with deep RxSwift exposure.
• Proficient in Xcode IDE and UI design principles.
• Strong OO programming, memory management and multi-threading knowledge.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and back-end integration.
• Familiar with automated testing and unit tests.
• Knowledge of CI/CD and Agile methodologies (Jira).
• Keen on performance benchmarking and optimization.
• Understanding of Apple design guidelines and interface principles.

Responsibilities

• Design and build iOS applications for the Apple ecosystem.
• Ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness of apps.
• Collaborate with engineers to define and ship new features.
• Interpret Technical Design documents when implementing solutions.
• Identify bottlenecks and fix bugs to improve quality.
• Maintain code quality and automation practices.
• Apply DevOps principles and tooling in development workflow.
