Job summary

Platform45 is looking for an iOS Developer to join our Operations & Delivery team in Cape Town. You will contribute to building scalable iOS applications, write clean code, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software across the product lifecycle.

The role requires 2-4 years of iOS experience, proficiency in Swift (and some Objective-C), familiarity with the iOS SDK, Xcode, and Git, plus a good grasp of RESTful APIs and UI/UX design principles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or proven self-taught development skills with understanding of systems.
• 2-4 years of work experience in iOS development.
• Proficiency in Swift with exposure to Objective-C and iOS lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain iOS features in Swift (and Objective-C) following best practices.
• Own well-defined features or components with minimal supervision.
• Write clean, well-documented code and follow coding standards.
• Participate in full app development lifecycle including design, coding, testing, and deployment.
• Collaborate with team, product managers, and UX/UI designers to implement features and integrate APIs.
• Conduct unit testing and support QA in bug fixing.
