Job summary

The Hiring House in South Africa’s Gauteng region seeks an experienced Investment Administration professional to lead unitisation activities. You will review calculations, sign off pricing and reconciliations, and ensure data integrity before distribution to stakeholders.

You will mentor the Junior Unitisation Specialist, manage daily workflows, and contribute to risk control and process improvements while supporting management reporting and service standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of Investment Administration experience with exposure to Unitisation.
• Experience with pension fund and investment management industry trends.
• Strong numeric and analytical capabilities.
• Proficiency in Excel and data reporting.

Responsibilities

• Review and sign off unitisation calculations, pricing, reconciliations and reports.
• Verify outputs for accuracy before finalisation or distribution.
• Investigate and resolve pricing discrepancies and reconciling items.
• Monitor quality and identify recurring errors and training needs.
• Maintain review evidence, approvals and supporting documentation.
• Provide technical guidance to the Junior Unitisation Specialist.
• Perform duties during leave or peak periods as needed.
• Escalate issues and risks to management promptly.
• Consolidate and report on team activities and KPIs.
• Support system enhancements and process improvements.
