The Senior Manager will spearhead proactive investor targeting, lead generation, sector strategies, and partnerships with government, financial institutions and chambers.

Qualifications

• Postgraduate degree or NQF 8 in commerce, investments or related field.
• Minimum five years of senior management experience in commerce/investment.
• Solid knowledge of business environment and stakeholders.
• Understanding of local and international economic development.
• Knowledge of applicable legislation and governance requirements.
• Ability to define, scope, plan and execute projects using PM methodologies.
• Strong communication and engagement across all levels.
• Strategic thinking with commercial acumen for viable opportunities.
• Proven stakeholder relationship management and coordination.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualise and implement proactive investment lead-generation strategies.
• Identify local and international source markets and prospective investors.
• Develop and promote investment opportunities and sector strategies.
• Establish and manage investment lead evaluation and control processes.
• Build strategic relationships with investors, government, and financial institutions.
• Develop cooperation agreements and partnerships for engagement with investors.
• Coordinate investment promotion activities and outward missions.
• Represent the organisation at industry forums and promote Gauteng.
• Work with government partners to improve investment climate and ease of doing business.
• Develop stakeholder communications and ensure governance and controls.
