Job summary

The Financial Intelligence Centre in Centurion is seeking a senior manager to oversee the Monitoring and Analysis unit, ensuring delivery of high-quality financial intelligence outputs.

You will lead multidisciplinary teams, drive planning, manage resources, and work with government agencies to access information. The role requires a relevant degree and substantial leadership and AML experience.

Qualifications

• A relevant degree with minimum 10 years in analysis, investigation, or law enforcement.
• At least 3–7 years of management experience.
• Anti-money laundering training or practical AML experience required.
• Ability to gain cooperation and persuade others based on experience.
• Strong knowledge of the Constitution, Criminal Procedure Act, the intelligence cycle, POCA and FIC Act.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-disciplinary analytical teams to deliver high-quality financial intelligence outputs.
• Collaborate with government departments and role players to access information.
• Present highly technical outputs to informed audiences.
• Develop and execute delivery plans within policy and standards to achieve objectives.
• Plan unit outputs and report progress against work plans.
