Job summary

EY in Johannesburg seeks a Senior Associate in Enterprise Risk with a focus on Internal Audit. You will engage in significant internal audit and risk engagements globally, collaborating with a market-leading team to deliver proactive assurance and advisory services.

You will help build client relationships and contribute to projects across risk domains. You will lead and coach junior staff, manage time and budgets, and drive quality in audit work while developing strong business process and risk

Qualifications

• Honours required in a related field (Internal Audit, Accounting, Finance, etc).
• CIA certification required.
• Minimum 5 years of related work experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Work effectively as a team member, share responsibility, provide support and keep senior team members updated on progress.
• Develop and maintain productive working relationships with client personnel and across EY.
• Draft audit programmes to test controls and identify risks.
• Coach and mentor junior staff and review sections prepared by others.
• Present findings to client and assist with drafting proposals and reports.
