Job summary

Jackie Cory Recruitment is seeking a driven sales professional in KwaZulu-Natal to build and maintain relationships with interior designers, architects, and retail clients. You will deliver product presentations, generate leads, and independently manage sales activities including planning, reporting, and scheduling.

You will stay updated on interior design trends, fabrics, and applications, while achieving targets and delivering exceptional customer service to foster long-term client

Qualifications

• Matric qualification is required.
• Tertiary qualifications in Sales, Marketing, or Design are advantageous.
• Minimum of 5 years’ proven external sales experience, preferably in interior design, textiles, or décor.
• Advanced computer literacy in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong negotiation, closing, and presentation skills.
• Customer-focused with excellent communication skills in English and Afrikaans.
• Valid South African driver’s license and own reliable vehicle.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Well groomed, professional appearance.
• Passionate about interior design trends and fabric applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with interior designers, architects, and retail clients
• Deliver professional product presentations and demonstrations
• Prospect and generate leads within the designated territory
• Achieve and surpass sales targets and budgets
• Manage sales activities independently including planning, reporting, and scheduling
