This role is crucial for transforming static displays into dynamic, immersive journeys that educate and captivate visitors of all ages. You will lead the design and implementation of interactive exhibits, integrating multimedia content, touchscreens, augmented reality, and other innovative technologies. This hybrid position requires a balance of in-office collaboration with the curatorial and exhibit design teams and the flexibility to work remotely on design and development tasks. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of interactive media elements for museum exhibitions, from concept to installation.

• Create user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) designs for interactive exhibits, ensuring intuitive navigation and accessibility.

Requirements

• A Master's degree in Interactive Design, Digital Media, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience designing interactive digital experiences, with a strong portfolio showcasing work in museums, galleries, or similar public spaces.
• Proficiency in industry-standard design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro) and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD).
• Strong understanding of UX/UI principles, user-centered design methodologies, and accessibility standards.
• Experience with content management systems (CMS) and basic knowledge of programming languages (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts effectively.
• Proven project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
• Experience working collaboratively in a team environment, interacting with diverse stakeholders.
