Qualifications

• 8+ years in insurance underwriting, with 3+ years in leadership or supervisory roles.
• Proven track record of profitable underwriting.
• Deep knowledge of insurance products, risk management principles, and underwriting techniques.
• Strong analytical, financial acumen, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent leadership, team management, and communication abilities.
• Proficiency in underwriting software and statistical analysis tools.
• Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Insurance or related field.
• Understanding of SA regulatory environment governing insurance.
