HENSOLDT South Africa is seeking an experienced Instructional Designer to design, develop and maintain engaging learning solutions that meet business needs and improve organisational performance.

The role involves conducting learning needs analyses, creating blended learning content, and collaborating with Subject Matter Experts to ensure technically accurate materials. A Diploma in Instructional Design or related field and 5+ years’ experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Instructional Design or related field; degree preferred.
• 5+ years’ experience in instructional design or curriculum development.
• Experience developing classroom-based, digital and blended learning programmes.
• Experience collaborating with Subject Matter Experts to develop technical learning content.
• Experience designing technical training material in manufacturing, engineering or defence environment advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Learning Needs Analysis and Solution Design: analyse requirements and gaps to design targeted learning interventions.
• Learning Content Development: create instructor-led, digital and blended programmes with objectives, storyboards and resources.
• Learning Quality Assurance and Evaluation: pilot, collect feedback and analytics to improve solutions.
• Stakeholder Collaboration and Knowledge Management: partner with SMEs and trainers to translate knowledge into structured learning materials.
• Learning Innovation and Capability Development: explore new technologies and learner-centered approaches to boost delivery and capability.
