Client ICT Company is seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer to design, implement and support a complex enterprise network within a demanding industrial environment. You will bring strong hands-on Cisco expertise, spanning routing, switching, MPLS and SD-WAN, with exposure to IT/OT contexts.

The role requires 5+ years in network engineering, deep Cisco knowledge, and the ability to work independently on site. Industrial environments and multi-vendor support are part of daily operations.

Competenze

• Minimum 5 years' experience in network engineering, with at least 2 years in core network design, implementation or support.
• Strong practical Cisco enterprise networking experience, particularly Catalyst and Nexus switches.
• Advanced understanding of routing and switching, including BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VLANs, STP, VRFs and Layer 2/Layer 3 technologies.
• Experience with enterprise LAN/WAN, MPLS, SD-WAN and Cisco vManage.
• Experience configuring, supporting and troubleshooting multi-vendor network infrastructure.
• Good understanding of network security, monitoring, high availability and network performance management.
• Exposure to Industrial IT/OT, mining, manufacturing or other complex operational environments.

We are recruiting for our client within the ICT industry who is seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, maintain and support complex enterprise network infrastructure within a demanding industrial environment.

The successful candidate must have strong hands‑on Cisco networking experience, with expertise in routing, switching, LAN/WAN, MPLS and SD-WAN technologies. Exposure to Industrial IT/OT environments will be highly advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

Minimum Requirements & Technical Experience

• Minimum 5 years' experience in network engineering, with at least 2 years in core network design, implementation or support.
• Strong practical Cisco enterprise networking experience, particularly Catalyst and Nexus switches.
• Advanced understanding of routing and switching, including BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VLANs, STP, VRFs and Layer 2/Layer 3 technologies.
• Experience with enterprise LAN/WAN, MPLS, SD-WAN and Cisco vManage.
• Experience configuring, supporting and troubleshooting multi-vendor network infrastructure.
• Good understanding of network security, monitoring, high availability and network performance management.
• Exposure to Industrial IT/OT, mining, manufacturing or other complex operational environments.

Advantageous: CCNP Enterprise, CCNA, Cisco SD-WAN, Juniper JNCIA, ITIL Foundation or equivalent industry certifications. Experience with Cisco ISE, Cisco DNAC/SD-Access, wireless infrastructure, Check Point or Fortinet firewalls and industrial wireless solutions such as Rajant will be beneficial.

Ideal Candidate

A technically strong network professional who has worked in complex enterprise, service-provider or industrial network environments.

You mustbe comfortable handling advanced network troubleshooting, infrastructure support and design, with the ability to work independently in a demanding site-based environment.
