Job summary

ATS Client in Pretoria is seeking an Information Security Officer to lead governance, security policy enforcement and risk management across IT systems. The role encompasses advisory support for development and infrastructure projects, incident management, and security awareness programs within the organization.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor qualification (360 credits) and certifications such as Ethical Hacking, CISM, CISSP or ISO27001, with 5–7 years of relevant experience in cyber

Qualifications

• Bachelor qualification or equivalent (360 credits).
• Certifications in Ethical Hacking, ISACA CISM, CISSP or ISO27001 are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and enforce IT security policy, procedures and standards.
• Advise on security requirements for applications and infrastructure projects.
• Develop and maintain IT risk register and security awareness programs.
• Identify, track and report security incidents; prepare monthly/quarterly/annual reports.
• Conduct regular reviews of systems and administrator actions to ensure proper security controls.
