Placements24 is seeking an experienced Senior Information Security Consultant to join a prominent advisory firm serving clients across industries, with opportunities in Upington and the Northern Cape. You will provide expert advice on risk management, policy development, and security architecture while leading client engagements and workshops.

The role requires 6+ years in information security consulting, strong communication skills, and relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years of information security experience in consulting or advisory services.
• Strong background in risk management, assessments and architecture.
• In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, standards and regulations.
• Experience with various security technologies and platforms.
• Excellent analytical and client-facing communication skills.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA or CRISC are highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive information security risk assessments and vulnerability analyses for clients.
• Develop and implement tailored security strategies, policies, and procedures for diverse client needs.
• Advise clients on security architecture design, implementation, and optimization.
• Assist clients in achieving and maintaining compliance with relevant regulations and standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST).
• Lead security awareness training and workshops for client personnel.
• Respond to client security inquiries and provide expert guidance on security best practices.
• Evaluate and recommend security technologies and solutions suitable for client environments.
• Manage client relationships and ensure successful delivery of consulting projects.
