Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Senior Industrial Production Supervisor to oversee operations in Polokwane, Limpopo. You will lead a production team, ensure schedules, maintain quality and safety, and drive efficiency in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will supervise daily production activities, optimize resource allocation, implement lean practices, and collaborate with Quality Assurance, Maintenance, and Logistics to ensure seamless operations.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Management, or related field.
• Minimum of 6 years in production supervision/management within industrial manufacturing, preferably food & beverage.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• Strong understanding of production planning, scheduling, and control.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Familiarity with industrial machinery operation, maintenance, and safety protocols.
• Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in using production management software and MS Office Suite.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to work full-time on-site in Polokwane and adhere to shift work if required.

Responsibilities
