Responsibilities

• Train, mentor, and evaluate production staff, fostering a productive and safe work environment.
• Ensure adherence to all company policies, procedures, and best manufacturing practices (BMP).
• Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to address equipment issues and minimize downtime.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and ensure all team members follow safety protocols.
• Manage work assignments and labor allocation to optimize productivity.
• Maintain production records, including output, waste, downtime, and quality metrics.

About the Role

Our client, a leading manufacturer of (Specific Product Type, e.g., automotive parts), is seeking an experienced and motivated Production Supervisor for their facility in Soweto, Gauteng. This critical on-site role involves overseeing daily production operations, ensuring that manufacturing targets are met safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. You will be responsible for leading a team of production operators, managing workflow, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives on the shop floor.
