Placements24 in Polokwane (Limpopo) seeks a Lead Industrial Process Engineer to optimize complex industrial processes, boost throughput and reduce costs. You will lead a team of process engineers and collaborate with operations, maintenance and engineering teams in a hybrid work setting.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Industrial or Metallurgical Engineering and 7+ years in process design and optimization, with hands-on experience in Aspen Plus, HYSYS or Arena, and SPC

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in industrial process engineering, with focus on design, analysis and optimization.
• Proven experience leading engineering teams and projects.
• Strong knowledge of process modeling and simulation software and SPC.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of process improvements for industrial operations.
• Analyze process data to identify KPIs, inefficiencies, and optimization opportunities.
• Develop and implement process simulations and models to test improvements.
• Troubleshoot complex process issues and develop effective solutions.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
• Manage process engineering projects, including scope, resources and timelines.
• Mentor junior engineers and technical staff.
• Collaborate with operations, maintenance and engineering teams for successful implementation.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in industrial process engineering.
• Prepare technical reports and present findings to management.
