Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior Industrial Process Engineer to join the Mossel Bay team. You will lead process improvements, analyze bottlenecks, and optimize production scheduling to boost efficiency and cost-effectiveness in a major Mossel Bay operation.

The role requires 6+ years in industrial process engineering, strong Lean knowledge, and proficiency in simulation and data analysis. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and operational excellence.

Qualifications

6+ years of experience in industrial process engineering with a strong track record in optimization.
Proficient in Lean manufacturing principles and tools.
Experience with data analysis and quality management systems.

Responsibilities

Lead the design and implementation of process improvements across manufacturing and operational areas.
Conduct detailed process analyses, including value stream mapping and bottleneck identification.
Develop and optimize production schedules and resource allocation plans.
Implement and monitor process control strategies to ensure consistent quality and efficiency.
Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality assurance teams to resolve technical challenges.
Research and recommend new technologies or methodologies to enhance operational performance.
