Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and optimize existing manufacturing processes for efficiency, cost, and quality.
• Design and implement new manufacturing processes, systems, and equipment.
• Lead and manage manufacturing improvement projects, from conception to completion.
• Develop and implement lean manufacturing techniques (e.g., 5S, Kaizen, JIT) to reduce waste and improve workflow.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement effective solutions.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation, including SOPs, work instructions, and process flow diagrams.
• Collaborate with design, quality, and R&D teams to ensure manufacturability of new products.
• Evaluate and recommend new manufacturing technologies and automation solutions.
• Train and mentor junior manufacturing engineers and production personnel.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, with a proven track record in process optimization and automation.
• Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience with CAD/CAM software and process simulation tools is desirable.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and relevant industry standards.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.
• Experience in the automotive or similar high-volume manufacturing sector is a plus.
