Qualifications

• Proficiency in process simulation software, CAD tools, and advanced data analysis.
• Strong leadership, project management, and change management skills.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
• Legally eligible to work in South Africa.

Responsibilities

• Lead analysis, design, and implementation of production process improvements to boost efficiency, throughput and quality.
• Conduct root cause analyses for production inefficiencies and apply corrective actions.
• Develop strategies for waste reduction, cost optimization, and cycle time improvement.
• Apply Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Oversee new technologies and automation implementations in production.
• Create and maintain SOPs and work instructions; document processes.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• A minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in industrial engineering within a manufacturing environment, preferably in heavy industry or automotive.
• Demonstrated expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma (Black Belt certification strongly preferred), and other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Proficiency in process simulation software, CAD tools, and advanced data analysis techniques.
• Strong leadership, project management, and change management skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with all levels of the organization.
