Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- 8+ years in industrial engineering with 5+ years in automation/robotics.
- Experience with PLCs, robotics, and industrial control systems.
- Strong project management and analytical skills.
Responsibilities
- Identify opportunities for automation and robotic integration within manufacturing processes.
- Design, specify, and oversee automated production systems including robotics, PLCs, and HMI.
- Develop detailed project plans, budgets, timelines for automation projects.
- Conduct feasibility studies and ROI analyses for automation initiatives.
- Collaborate with vendors to select and integrate automation solutions.
- Provide technical support and training for new automated systems in Pretoria.
