Placements24 is seeking an experienced Senior Research Associate with a specialization in Immunology to join our Benoni laboratory. This hands-on role involves conducting critical experiments to advance our understanding of immune responses and to develop novel immunotherapies.

You will perform complex assays, manage workflows, and contribute to data analysis and interpretation within a collaborative, fast-paced team focused on cutting-edge immunological research.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Immunology or related life science field.
• Minimum 4 years hands-on immunology research experience.
• Proficiency in flow cytometry, ELISA, Western blotting and cell culture.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced immunological assays, including flow cytometry, ELISA, and cell-based assays.
• Design and execute experiments to investigate immune cell function and signaling pathways.
• Maintain cell cultures and establish new assay formats.
• Analyze experimental data and contribute to reports and presentations.
• Ensure adherence to laboratory protocols, safety standards, and documentation.
