Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health, Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years' experience in hygiene, sanitation, or QA.
• Knowledge of hygiene principles and relevant legislation.
• Auditing, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and training abilities.
• Attention to detail and systematic work approach.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel within region.

Responsibilities

• Develop, review, and update hygiene policies and procedures in line with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct regular hygiene audits and inspections of all facilities, identifying non-compliance issues and areas for improvement.
• Develop and deliver training programs on hygiene practices, sanitation procedures, and the correct use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Monitor compliance with hygiene standards and implement corrective actions when necessary.
• Investigate and report on hygiene-related incidents, accidents, or complaints.
• Maintain accurate records of audits, training, and corrective actions taken.
• Liaise with external regulatory bodies and third-party auditors.
• Advise management on best practices for maintaining a safe and hygienic environment.
• Stay abreast of changes in hygiene regulations and standards.
• Promote a strong hygiene-conscious culture throughout the organization.
