Hire Resolve’s client in the water & environmental consultancy sector is urgently seeking a Senior Hydrogeologist to join on-site projects in the Rivonia area of Johannesburg. You will manage complex hydrogeological assignments, interpret field data, and develop groundwater models while upholding quality standards and methodologies.

The role requires MSc in Hydrogeology (or BSc Hons) with solid mining hydrogeology experience, strong project management and report writing skills, and the ability

Hire Resolve’s client in the water & environmental consultancy industry is urgently seeking the expertise of a Senior Hydrogeologist in Rivonia, Johannesburg.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex hydrogeological projects within deadlines and budget
• Conduct field data interpretation and management
• Develop and maintain groundwater models
• Prepare hydrogeological conceptual models and ensure data and model quality
• Promote company standards and methodologies in hydrogeology
• Engage in staff training and mentoring
• Assist with overall group and unit revenue and growth assurance
• Participate in geophysics, pump testing, drill supervision, dewatering, and mine hydrogeology

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science Honours Degree, MSc Degree in Hydrogeology
• Solid practical experience in mining hydrogeology
• Proven project management and report writing skills
• Good communication skills to develop client relationships
• Good client management and delivery efficiency
• Can be on site/mining projects
• Must be a registered professional scientist (Pr. Sci. Nat) or eligible for registration
• The ability to work independently and be part of a team
