Bidvestfacilitiesmanagement is seeking a technically skilled HVAC technician to carry out planned, preventive and emergency maintenance on air-conditioning and water reticulation systems in our facilities in Cape Town. You will follow the maintenance strategy and service standards to ensure reliable operation and client satisfaction.

With 5–8 years in air-conditioning maintenance and digital control systems, you will diagnose faults, implement service specs, install and commission equipment, and

Qualifications

• Matric (Senior Certificate) required.
• N3 - N6 in Mechanical Engineering.
• Trade-Test in HVAC (Air-conditioning & Refrigeration) required.
• Additional Trade-Test in Electrical advantageous.
• Valid SA Driver's License.
• 5-8 yrs relevant experience in air-conditioning equipment maintenance and digital control systems.
• Min 3 yrs experience in Trade.
• Maintenance of air-conditioning equipment & water reticulation systems.
• MS Word, MS Excel & MS Outlook (Intermediate).
• SAP Knowledge.
• Knowledge of OHS Act.

Responsabilités

• Implement equipment service specifications in accordance with Client and Company requirements
• Install & commission air-conditioning and water reticulation equipment in accordance to specification
• Conduct maintenance on air-conditioning & water reticulation equipment as per schedule, preventative or emergency fault rectification
• Perform inspection of facility, air-conditioning equipment on site, identify areas of risk and report back for rectification
• Ensure that preventative or emergency fault rectification complies with the relevant legislation, SLA and job plans
• Ensure quality of work and timeous completion of all field requests
• Provide constant feedback to the Supervisor & Client on restoration of operations
