Job summary

Bidvest Facilities Management is seeking a skilled HVAC technician to perform timeous and quality planned, preventative and emergency maintenance on air-conditioning, refrigeration, ventilation and water reticulation units on site. You will follow client and company specifications and report risks identified during site inspections.

The role requires a Trade-Test in HVAC with 5+ years’ experience, a valid SA driver’s license, and knowledge of OHS Act.

Qualifications

• Matric with relevant mechanical engineering studies.
• Trade-Test in HVAC and 5+ years in HVAC maintenance.
• Valid SA Driver’s License and safe operating knowledge (OHS).

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned, preventative and emergency maintenance on HVAC, refrigeration, ventilation, and water reticulation units.
• Install, commission and test air-conditioning and water systems per specs.
• Inspect facilities and identify risks; report for rectification.
• Ensure work meets legislation, SLA and job plans; timely completion.
• Provide feedback to Supervisor and Client on restoration of operations.
