Hitachi Energy seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead complex power-grid projects, focusing on cost, timeline, staffing, and quality while ensuring ISO-related compliance. You will manage multiple interrelated projects, coordinate vendors, and guide junior staff in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• University degree in Electrical/ Power Engineering.
• Proven ability to lead complex projects in power grids or substations.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Define project scope, financial plans, schedules, and risk docs with Project Lead/Controller.
• Adhere to execution best practices and company policies.
• Monitor project progress, resources, and financials including invoicing and cash flow.
• Identify and manage risks while pursuing opportunities.
• Capture lessons learned through the project lifecycle.
• Drive project closure and customer acceptance per contracts.
• Apply contract/claims management practices per policies.
• Negotiate and procure services, materials, and equipment.
• Support supply chain in supplier negotiations and changes.
• Coordinate with engineering/service teams for HV installations.
• Plan and implement commissioning activities; support installation coordination.
• Serve as primary customer contact and escalation point.
• Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and ensure clear communication.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental policies.
• Comply with external and internal regulations and guidelines.
