DLK Group in East London, South Africa, is seeking an experienced Senior Systems Developer to support development, enhancement, and maintenance of critical healthcare business applications for our client based in East London. The role requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving, and collaboration with clinical staff and IT teams.
You will mentor junior developers, provide technical guidance, and contribute to digital transformation and operational efficiency in healthcare services
Qualifications
- Degree or diploma in Computer Science or Information Technology.
- 10 years of working experience in information systems design and development.
- Experience with E-Health applications and healthcare data standards (HL7, FHIR) is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and mentoring abilities.
- Ability to translate business requirements into system designs.
- Experience with HL7 and data integration tools.
Responsabilités
- Develop and maintain healthcare applications and dashboards.
- Translate business requirements into system designs.
- Conduct code reviews and testing (unit, automated, regression).
- Train users and create documentation.
- Collaborate with clinical staff, admins and IT teams.
