About the Role Our client, a key player in the **Logistics & Warehousing** sector, is looking for dedicated Warehouse Associates to join their night shift team in **Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal**. This role is fundamental to the efficient operation of the warehouse, involving the handling, storing, and dispatching of goods during overnight hours. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory, processing orders swiftly, and ensuring a safe working environment. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, possess a strong work ethic, and be comfortable working night shifts. You will play a vital part in the daily workflow, supporting the overall success of the **Pietermaritzburg** distribution center. Key Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and accurately store incoming goods.
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to established procedures.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely and efficiently (training provided if necessary).
• Maintain inventory accuracy by performing cycle counts and assisting in stocktaking.
• Ensure the warehouse is kept clean, organized, and free from hazards during the night shift.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Identify and report any damaged goods or operational issues to supervisors.
• Load outgoing shipments onto delivery vehicles for morning dispatch.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to achieve night shift targets.
• Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a warehouse or manual labor environment is advantageous but not essential; full training will be provided.
• Must be physically fit and capable of lifting heavy items (up to 25kg).
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team during night shifts.
