The ideal candidate has 10+ years in golf course maintenance, 5+ in a leadership role, GCSAA Class A preferred, and a passion for world-class playing surfaces.

Qualifications

• Degree or certification in Agronomy, Horticulture, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in golf course maintenance, with at least 5 years in a supervisory role.
• In-depth knowledge of turfgrass science, soil health, and pest/disease management.
• Experience with golf course irrigation systems and maintenance equipment.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• GCSAA Class A certification is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all daily operations of golf course maintenance, including mowing, fertilization, and pest management.
• Develop and implement detailed agronomic plans for turf health and course conditioning.
• Manage and maintain irrigation systems, ensuring efficient water usage.
• Supervise, train, and schedule a team of groundskeepers and maintenance staff.
• Manage the maintenance budget, including labor, equipment, and supplies.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and promote sustainable practices.
