Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Remote Exploration Manager to define and execute the company's exploration strategy from anywhere in the world. You will lead global exploration initiatives, identify promising mineral ventures, and manage teams across diverse locations, all within a fully remote setting.

Senior candidate with 15+ years in mineral exploration and a proven track record will drive discovery and project development, leveraging advanced technologies and data analytics.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Geology, Earth Science, or related field.
• Minimum 15 years of progressive mineral exploration experience with significant management exposure.
• Proven track record of discoveries and project development.
• Extensive knowledge of exploration techniques and geological settings.
• Exceptional leadership, strategic thinking and communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage remote and international projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the global exploration strategy and targets across commodities and regions.
• Oversee exploration projects including budgeting, planning, and execution.
• Lead, mentor and manage a distributed team of geologists and exploration professionals.
• Evaluate new exploration opportunities including greenfield projects and acquisitions.
• Ensure adherence to high health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Stay abreast of emerging exploration technologies and market trends.
