Qualifications

• Master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• A minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in geotechnical engineering, with significant energy sector exposure.
• Experience with site investigation planning and execution, data analysis, and interpretation.
• Strong knowledge of soil and rock mechanics and foundation engineering.
• Experience with offshore/onshore energy projects is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage, and execute geotechnical investigations including site reconnaissance, drilling, and in-situ testing.
• Analyze subsurface investigation data and interpret results for design.
• Perform geotechnical design calculations for foundations, slopes and retaining structures.
• Develop detailed geotechnical reports with design recommendations.
• Provide mentorship to junior engineers and collaborate across disciplines.
• Review designs and ensure compliance with codes and standards.
• Support business development through proposals and client presentations.
• Conduct site inspections during construction to monitor geotechnical aspects.
