Placements24 is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer for Kimberley, SA. You will deliver expert geotechnical services for mine design, infrastructure and stability assessments in a challenging mining environment.

The role requires a Master’s in Geotechnical Engineering and Pr. Eng registration with ECSA, with 8+ years in mining geotech. You will lead investigations, model rock and soil behavior, and produce robust design recommendations.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering or closely related field.
• Pr.Eng registration with ECSA is required.
• 8+ years of mining geotechnical engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of rock mechanics, soil mechanics and numerical modeling in mining.
• Proficiency with FLAC, PLAXIS and SLOPE/W.

Requirements
